Using the files' URL starting with "http://" or "https://", you can make files in a shared folder accessible from kintone.
To do this, place files in a location that can be accessed with an "http://" or "https://" URL (e.g., internal server), and then specify the URL on kintone.
Note
URLs starting with "file://" cannot be used for accessing files from kintone.
The following example explains how to place a file in a location that can be accessed with an "http://" URL and make the file accessible from kintone.
- Server machine name
cybozu
- Home directory of the Web server
c:\Inetpub\wwwroot
- File location
c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\share\test.png
- URL of the file
http://cybozu/share/test.png
※ Specify this URL in the Announcement section, threads, "Link" fields, or anywhere you want.
Clicking the URL allows you to access the file.
Note
-
Store the file under the home directory of the Web server.
For details on how to install a Web server, refer to How to install Web servers.
- Files can be viewed from client PCs that are on the same internal LAN as the server machine in which the files are stored.
