kintone provides multiple features to set permissions for apps and records.
Here are the settings to check when you can't view apps or records, listed in order of least impact.

1. Settings within the app
Check the following settings to ensure "Record Viewing" permissions are granted:

Note
- Permissions for apps > Permissions for records > Permissions for fields are prioritized in this order.
Example: Unable to view records even though viewing permission is granted in record permissions.

→ In this case, the permissions for apps take precedence, so users other than the administrator cannot view the relevant app or records.
Grant "Record Viewing" permissions for "Everyone" in the permissions for apps.
Note
- Users who fall under the category of administrators are also included in "Everyone."
- If multiple permissions are set for a single user in each permission setting, the settings in the upper row take precedence.
2. App Group
Check if permissions are granted to the app group that the app belongs to.
If permissions are not granted, either change the app group the app belongs to or modify the permissions settings for the app group.

Example: Unable to view apps or records even though viewing permissions are granted in app permissions.

○ Permissions for the "Public" App Group
→ In this case, the permissions for the app group take precedence, so users other than administrators cannot view the relevant app or records.
Grant "Manage/use/delete apps" permissions for "Everyone" in the "Public" app group.
Note
- Only cybozu.com common administrators and kintone system administrators can set permissions for app groups.
- All app groups for apps belonging to spaces are "Public."
3. Spaces
Apps belonging to private spaces or guest spaces can only be viewed by members participating in those spaces.
If the app belongs to one of these spaces, either participate in the relevant space or change the space the app belongs to.

Apps within guest spaces cannot be moved to other spaces.
The following methods can be used to distinguish private spaces and guest spaces:

Spaces with a lock icon at the beginning of their name. - Space Portal
"Private Space" is displayed at the top-right of the screen after opening the space.
