Possible causes are as follows.
1. That user has been deleted or inactivated.
2. kintone is not specified as an available service for that user.
3. Preset users is selected in the "User selection" field.
4. The app is in a guest space, and the user is not a member of that space.
Following are the solutions for each of the situation.
1. That user has been deleted or inactivated.
Check the user's status on the "Users & System Administration" screen and activate kintone for that user.
< Steps >
1) Open the "Users & System Administration" screen.
2) Click "User Administration" and then "Departments/Users".
3) Click "All Users" under "Departments".
4) Click the edit icon next to the user in question.
○ If you cannot find the user in question:
・Ensure "All Users" is selected under "Departments".
・Search for the user in the search box at the top of the screen.
・If the user still cannot be found, they might have been deleted. Add the user as needed.
○ If the user in question is marked as "Inactive":
Click "Inactive" under "Status" to change it to "Active", then click "Save".
2. kintone is not specified as an available service for that user.
Check the user's status on the "Users & System Administration" screen and activate kintone for that user.
< Steps >
1) Open the "Users & System Administration" screen.
2) Click "User Administration" and then "Departments/Users".
3) Check if the kintone icon is not displayed under "Services to Use" for the user in question.
4) Click the edit icon next to the user in question.
5) Check the "kintone" box under "Services to Use".
6) Click "Save" at the top left of the screen.

You cannot add users beyond the maximum number of licensed kintone users.

Change the "Preset users" setting of the "User selection" field.

< Steps >
1) Open the relevant app.
2) Click the gear icon at the top right of the screen.
3) In the "Form" tab, click "Settings" from the gear icon at the top right of the "User selection" field.
4)Uncheck the Preset users checkbox or add the user as an option.
◯If no option is specified, all users will be displayed as the options.
◯When specifying an option, search for a user or use the Select From Department/Group icon to the right of the user search box.
5) Click Save.
6) Click Save Form on the upper left side of the screen.
7) Click "Update App" > "Update App" at the top right of the screen.

4. The App Is in a Guest Space, and the User Is Not a Member of That Space
As a space administrator, add the user as a member.
< Steps >
1) Access the space.
2) Click select Manage Members from the Options icon at the upper right of the space screen.
3)Add the user in the Members tab.
4) Click Save.

You cannot use Departments or Groups in apps in guest spaces.
